What should a woman wear to an interview at a hardware store?
Interview site after interview site suggests wearing a suit to an interview. I can’t help thinking these are only really helpful to people having a professional job-type interview.
I’m interviewing part-time to work in a hardware store. Certainly, I’m aware I shouldn’t look like a slob, and I’m thinking not too girly either. Since it’s true, I want to subliminally say “Yes, I’m a female and put together, but I really do like tools and hardware stores and you should hire me to work here.”
Any helpful tips?
How do you like to greeted when you enter a store?
I work in a small boutique and would like to know how some of you prefer to be greeted. I personally do the laid back approach to greeting. Just a simple “Hello how are you?” kinda thing. I like to let my customers drift around the store before I ask them if they are finding everything alright. But sometimes I do feel like I could do more. So just give me some ideas on how you would like to be welcomed into a store. Thanks peeps.
What do you do when you call a business/store/company and all they say is HELLO?
Instead of saying the stores name? Do you hang up, ask who is this or what? These people answer the phone at work as if they are answering their cell phone or home phone.
I have called two separate companies this morning and got the same response, HELLO-not giving any company name. I have no clue if ive dialed a residential number or what.
One of the people who answered, sounded like an annoying teenage girl type, when i asked her if this was Kohls she said “Thats what it is” with an attitude that said as if i was the stupid one and i should know.
What kind of answer is that?
I saw a bottle of polish remover in the store. Can I sue the company for being racist?
I mean, my wife is Polish and she is highly offended. You don’t see German Or French remover anywhere, what gives?
My office supplies are always getting into fights. How do I get them to get along better?
My tape dispenser is always criticizing my stapler by telling him that he “looks tacky”. They are always verbally and physically fighting. My ruler usually stays quiet through it all, but I can just tell he is bottling up all of his feelings and just might snap one day.
How do I create harmony amongst my supplies?
