When going in for an interview at a clothing store, should you wear clothes from that company?
cultura_10 asked:
This is just a small question. I have a job interview at a Ralph Lauren today. I deciding on what to wear and the thought came up of wearing something from Ralph Lauren. I’m thinking it’s a little tacky to wear something from the company, but then again it shows the people hiring you that you like their stuff. What do you think? And professionally, what should you do?

Is working at a grocery store for 7 years considered having retail experience?
Dr. Bill asked:
I want to have retail experience, but I need a conformation on this. My boss at the grocery store I work at said that a grocery store is a retail business just under grocery retail. He said anytime you are selling a product for a business, it is retail. Is this true?

I work in support at a retail store, can I get a second job in sales at a different retail store?
Girl Face asked:
I work at a department store and my position is a signer/support. I have an interview soon at a different department store to work in cosmetics/sales. Is this allowed? It shouldn’t be considered a “conflict of interest” because I’m not in management or anything, right?
PS: if it makes a difference the two stores are Macy’s and Gottchalks, respectively.
