How do you store baby bottles after they have been sterilised?

The AVENT instructions mention bottles etc are only sterile for 3 hours however can you store in a air tight container or after 3 hours do you have to sterilise again (I am using the Avent express steriliser). My sister said she used to just leave them in the steriliser however condensation builds up and I am not sure if this is any better than an air tight container?
