I acquired goods from a store on finance through HSBC for X amount. However, the store called me 4 months later telling me I owe more money than is listed on my contract (to be paid to the store, not to the finance company) due to one of the employee’s errors. They have recently sent me a notice before summons for the amount they think I owe. Do I owe this amount to the store or can I stick with my the original contract?

I’ve called a couple of cc companies and the reps seem clueless. If I don’t want to store paper copies of bills, and I need something from 2001 or 2002 for an audit, how far back will the banks keep those records and do they have to provide them to me? For example, Amex, B of A Visa, Citi Mastercard etc etc

This credit card company keeps sending me bills and emails, and also calls me to try to get more money from me that they claim I owe. When I do not feel I owe them anymore money, because it is finance charges and late fees the’re trying to charge me for. I have already sent them a letter to please stop calling me and sending me bills and emails.

I don’t want to store any unused loans into my checking account because I’m bound to use all that money if I do. So what should I do with unused portions of loans?
