Is It safe to play handheld games in a Thunderstorm?

I always wondered about it.

I know you can be shocked on the phone or a computer but what about a handheld game like a DS, Gameboy or PSP? Its not hooked up to anything and it is not in wireless mode.

Is it safe or can you still get shock because it is an electrical apliance?
