    Yes, the name Kodak is a registered trademark. They shortened the Eastman Kodak to Kodak much like Sears and Roebuck in now just Sears. Harbinger

    Yes. The name Eastman Kodak is the same as the Kodak store. Mr. George Eastman invented the small camera, which means “box” in Latin, as a way for everyday people to make photos. Panama Joe
