What is the best way to store cookies to keep their crispness?

I baked homemade choc chip cookies and put them in a tupperware container & they lost their crispness. They’re still good but I prefer a little more crunch. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to store them so they don’t get soft?

    Eat them quicker,they are not meant for storage are they? josh999

    I like soft cookies, however if you refrigerate them, that might help keep them harder. Em M

    In an air tight container. If they go soft, just pop them in an oven toaster and grill for 1 minute. Let them cool and they’ll be crispy again Enjoy! {:-) The Travelling Gourmet
