What is the best way to store photographs?
mikelepeonka asked:
I have some old pictures that I want temporatly store, what is the best way to keep them so they do not get ruined? Does anyone know of a good photobook that won’t turn my pictures yellow?
Do I store them flat or standing on the side?

keep them in dry cool place
you could always scan them onto your computer and put them on a cd or disk. Or you could also get a photo abulm with no acids in the covers and the paper, Wallmart usually has some good but fashionble abulms. Or if you do not want to spend much money just keep them in a shoe box or envelope in a dry cool place, and out of the sun.
You want to use a book that is of archival quality; no acid in the product. If they are of any value to you, I would suggest having them scanned or even re-photographed and put onto a disk for storage.
try a photo album.
store flat in a dry, cool temperature in a photograph box that is lignen and acid free
